A Good Place to Find Yourself

Sometimes the life you’ve been living doesn’t fit anymore.

Maybe you're grieving. Maybe you're overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns you can't seem to change. Maybe your beliefs are shifting and you're trying to figure out what spirituality means to you now. Or maybe you simply know that something needs to change—even if you can't quite name what yet.

You don't have to have all the answers before you begin.

At Soulful Journeys, I offer a compassionate, inclusive space to explore what you're carrying, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with the person you're becoming.

Through hypnotherapy, spiritual counseling, grief support, Reiki, intuitive guidance, and other holistic practices, we'll find an approach that honors you—your experiences, your beliefs, your goals, and your own understanding of healing.

There is no single right way to heal.

There is your way.

You may have found the right place if…

A series of pink carnations growing at different stages, with the largest fully bloomed flower at the top right and smaller buds below on a white background.

You're ready to change a pattern that keeps pulling you backward.

You're navigating grief, loss, or a major life transition.

You're questioning beliefs you once took for granted.

You're rebuilding your spiritual life after religious deconstruction or hurt.

You're trying to reconnect with yourself after years of being what everyone else needed you to be.

You're exploring your intuition or spirituality and want a grounded, judgment-free place to do it.

Or you're simply thinking:

“I know something needs to change. I just don't know where to start.”

There are many ways into healing.

No two people arrive at Soulful Journeys carrying exactly the same story—and your work shouldn't have to fit into someone else's box.

Some people need help changing an old subconscious pattern. Some need space to grieve. Some are searching spiritually. Some need rest and reconnection. And sometimes what you need changes as the journey unfolds.

That's why my work is integrative.

Change & Healing
Hypnotherapy
For habits, fears, confidence, emotional patterns, stress, and changes you've struggled to make consciously.

Loss & Transition

For death and bereavement, but also relationships, identity, career, faith, and the other losses that reshape a life.

Meaning & Becoming
Spiritual Counseling
For questioning, deconstruction, spiritual exploration, identity, purpose, and figuring out what you actually believe.

Rest & Reconnection
Reiki & Energy Work
For slowing down, reconnecting with yourself, and creating intentional space for restoration.

Insight & Reflection
Tarot & Oracle
Not “tell me exactly what will happen Tuesday at 4:37.” Rather, using archetype, intuition, and symbolism as tools for reflection, perspective, and exploration.

Not sure which one you need? You don't have to be.

Hi, I’m Sam.

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair, hazel eyes, and red lipstick, wearing a blue top and turquoise jewelry, smiling in a warmly lit room.

Soulful Journeys is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcomes people of all faiths, spiritual paths, and those who aren't sure what they believe.

I didn't arrive at this work because I've always had everything figured out.

Quite the opposite.

I spent much of my life inside systems that told me who I was supposed to be, what I was supposed to believe, and what a successful life was supposed to look like. Over time, experience began asking harder questions.

My own journey has included changing beliefs, religious deconstruction, shifting relationships, a major career transition, and rebuilding a spiritual life that actually feels authentic to me.

Along the way, one thing remained remarkably consistent:

I wanted to help people.

Today, that calling has taken a different form.

My work brings together professional training, lived experience, spirituality, intuition, and a deep respect for each person's right to determine what healing and meaning look like for themselves.

I won't tell you what you're supposed to believe.

I'll help you listen more clearly to yourself.

You are allowed to change.

You are allowed to question what you've always believed.

You are allowed to grieve what you've lost.

You are allowed to outgrow old versions of yourself.

You are allowed to want something different.

And you don't have to figure out what comes next alone.

Your journey doesn't have to look like anyone else's.

It only has to be yours.
